South Dakota has two chapters, the Sioux Empire Chapter which is Brookings down to the SD/NE border over to Chamberlain and the Northern Plains Chapter which goes from north of Brookings up to the SD/ND border west. You can join either chapter by marking a chapter on your membership form and paying the $5 fee for chapter fees. You can also call the AAMA to do so. To join the South Dakota Society of Medical Assistants you would just add that on your membership form.
