Where Are The Festivities Happening?
We are returning to the Hilton Garden Inn South Sioux Falls due to the reviews we have received from past years.
Rooms will be available Thursday and Friday night at $109/night. You will need to mention the SD Society of Medical Assistants when calling to reserve at the group rate.

2019 Fundraisers
Silent Auction:
Yet again the executive Board is busy finding and creating silent auction items for this year's convention. As a reminder Easter is just around the corner from convention and Easter baskets will be available for purchase!


Heads or Tails:
Bring your dollars and lucky socks, heads or tails is back, AGAIN! We didn't sell out of beads last year so that's our challenge for 2019! Lets get our winner more than $100 in 2019.
2019 Raffle
This year's raffle and donation organization will be The Beacon Center in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Our final speaker on Saturday, Angela Mesenberg, will provide us will more details on their efforts to support domestic violence victims and their families.
Similar to last year, for every item or every $5 donated, attendees will receive a free entry into the raffle prize drawing

Don't forget, 2019 is an election year! State and Chapter officer positions are open for nominations.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:

Must be a member in good standing. Meaning membership must be current with the AAMA

Must be an active member within the chapter and organization
-
Must be nominated by your peers. Anyone wanting to nominate a peer for an officer position can do so starting at registration on Friday
There will be a nominations container for credentialing checking and to help take pressure off of nominations during the meeting. There will be open nominations during the meeting as well. Please consider donating your time as an officer
