Legal Counsel Donald A Balasa is offering a two-hour discussion on the medical assisting scope of practice, at which attendees can earn 2 General CEUs.

The discussion will include the basics of how health care professions are regulated at the state and federal level by examining issues related to licensure and certification, exploring how different roles and settings affect the medical assistant scope of practices and how to handle the delegations of providers.
