2017 State Convention
It's Election Year! State and Chapter officer seats are up for nominations.
Do you want to make a difference in your State Society or Chapter?
2017 is your year to step into a leadership role! Becoming an officer is a great way to be part of a leadership team that cares about what it means to be a medical assistant and bring educational opportunities to our members.
Some of the duties expectations include: attending meetings, organizing member meetings and CEU opportunities, fundraising, maintain financial statements and keeping up-to-date records. Time requirements vary depending on if you are a State or Chapter officer. Meetings may be monthly depending on the time of year or quarterly.
Meeting times are set on current board members needs and schedules.
Officers must be in good standing with the AAMA. Memberships must have been paid by December 31, 2016.
If you are interested in running reach out to any current officer to get more details! Be sure to check out the Officer Boards at State Convention!
